My name is Dennis Parr following retirement some eight years ago I have enjoyed playing golf,flat green bowls and completing puzzles.Some two years ago my wife Dorothy started a group for mature ladies called Barton Ladies Young at Heart and I now assist in running this as it has developed from ten members to a full membership of sixty plus and its aim is to prevent social isolation by holding a once a month coffee morning with a difference.We provide games ,raffles,bingo,singing.Some of our members are presently rehearsing Cinderella and will perform panto at our xmas party.
