On the 11th day of the 11th month at 11am St Winnings Primary School showed there respect.
They were joined by members of the local Royal British Legion, a bugle player and some local residents.
The primary school children sang there 'wee' hearts out with songs like 'tipperarary' to a rapturous applause at the cenotaph within the grounds of The Abbey.
The Royal British Legion Kilwinning branch would like to extend a personal thank you to the school for there participation.
