Lower Kersal Community Centre had a new volunteer join the childcare team. We spoke to Amy Johnson about why she got involved.
How did you start at the Community Centre?
I was looking around the Lower Kersal Community Centre and saw the Yoghurt Pots group and I really wanted to get involved.
So what do you do with the children?
I play with them and prepare their snacks, I also spend a lot of time tidying up after them. I've also done some singing with them.
What do you like about it?
I am learning loads of new skills. I really like being part of a team and love my red uniform too!
