This is my mum, Jean Sims, with her Diamond Jubilee stall for The Reading Circle, a 'virtual' reading and creative writing group which she runs in Huddersfield. We didn't have a 'best stall' contest, but if we did she'd have won hands down. Her display included Jubilee-themed books, an intricate stamp display and all manner of red, white and blue paraphernalia that she'd quietly gathered together. The Union Jack Cat was definitely my favourite though (he's since taken up a new role propping open the bedroom door).
