A note that didn't make it onto the blog; crowded-out you know; press of other matters/stuff. It occurred around 01-07
Performing is like sex. In so far that anybody can do it. Only a few perform with consummate skill. Where this has relevance - I'm wondering the extent to which it does now - (don't go there do I hear the call?). Anyway I thought, in performing poetry one has to hit the mark everytime. You aim to, for sure and a few people are there or thereabouts always.
Myself; sometimes yes
I read of Cher saying, when she was doing some stage-work, she was frustrated at the fact that only in some of her performances was she happy she was really getting across as she'd like to. Then one of her number replied that if she hit things right one in every five times I think it was, that she was doing good, alright.
Performing poetry, (as in every form of Presenting) one does the best one can. The better of us seem to hit it every single time
The joy of getting things just just right...
As for that other - "leave-it"! some may be saying. I will brothers and sisters. Immediately
Now (yet other ): Goat at the employment bureau/agency. It isn't beaten to death at this time (the tale). There is more mileage.
I related the story word-for-word asI received it. Precise. None of the principals had a name. The goat you will have noted, was given by me a male moniker (naming). That may have had to do with the individual's profession.
A doctor, just the itle, you don't know the gender
A plumber(or decorator) you might get it wrong; in human's
Animals are less advanced, so I guessed male. Someone somewhere will have wondered about it
Bye for now
