This comic strip was made by Charlotte as part of the Girls Skateboarding Initiative project collecting 'Skate Stories'. Jess talked about how she first saw skateboarding on TV and thought it looked like fun, but she used to feel incredibly nervous when she first attended the park. However, taking part in the Girls Skateboarding Initiative has really helped her to feel more confident and less anxious, and now she feels like a “skating queen”!
