In my quest to track down good live music venues and bands within the Greater Manchester area I made my way to the newly refurbished Band On The Wall (BOTW) on Sawn st close to the city centre. Having not been to the BOTW for many years I was very supersized to find out that close to 5 million pounds had be spent on bringing it into the 21st century, a far cry from its history which dates back to the 1930s. Although it closed in 2004 its now becoming once again a major force for live music.
