It was great to see the first Tunnel Van arrive on site, and within three days the lads had put the tunnel up what a great job First Tunnels have done, Nikki and Sharon, who applied for the cash grant from Manchester City Council have done a great job organising the whole operation. On the 1st of November 2011 Cllr Mike Amesbury CEO of Manchester Leisure took time out of his busy schedule to have a look at what's going on at the ever expanding site. Cllr Amesbury had a chat with some of the pupils from the local Academy and had a walk round the site. He was amazed at how busy It was and very interested in some of the cost cutting Ideas the committee members had to make,to make the site more sustainable in the future.
