As part of Spirit of Manchester festival, a new radio station Reform Radio, celebrated it's launch at the First Chop Brewing venue. The preparations at 4 pm were in full swing even no guests had entered the venue yet. Director Rachel Roger was telling how important work the radio station does and will do in the future.

  • Reform Radio is an online radio station that supports young adults into employment. The idea started two years ago as a result of the recession that meant the number of young adults not able to find employment in Manchester sky rocketed. We want to create opportunities for people to explore alternative methods of training and get involved in creative programmes.

Station's vision is for young adults within Greater Manchester to have the opportunity to realise their full potential in creative field and open opportunities for them. They hope to work with a lot of local companies and organisations to achieve this.

You can find the station online and on Facebook.
