Um, Dan, what is your, like, what's the good thing about being in a youth club? Um, for a mother of an eight year old daughter, it offers, um, young people, including my child, a safe space in their local community to come together to mix with other children. We're not necessarily from this area, but unfortunately by where we live, there's not really many places that she can play out. We live close to a main road, so it's nice to come to a youth club. Even though it's in a different area, it's still nice to come and be welcomed
Yeah, that's quite, that's like all the same for a lot of people, but because so much people like the Bronte, a lot of people decide to come even if they're far. um the likes of Ellice and Mason, they live quite far but they still decide to come cos a lot of kids love the Bronte, but what are you most excited for the new Bronte to come? Most excited for. Or um I know our isle will probably be sports, she loves dodgeball, things like that, so she'll be most excited for the sports, but personally I'm excited for, I think there's gonna be a nature garden um like a forest school
So er I'm excited for that, I think it's gonna be called Mary's Garden if I remember on the plans for that and the swing park. I just think we'll be able to have a space outdoors in the summer cos we all know how hot the sports sport can be. That's just gonna be really exciting for everyone
Yeah, I'm really excited for the Bronte as well because now we're going to Backburn House, there's nothing wrong with that, but I feel like having the Brontea, like it being the normal space you'd usually come to, I feel like it's really comfortable for me and so is Backburn House, but I feel like it's closer and I feel more the Bronte is mores, isn't it? It belongs to us, it belongs to the people, yeah, so Blackburn House is someone else's building, isn't it? But the volunteer is like, it's named after Laura's mum and like she owns it and everything, and I think it's really nice to come and like achieving Mary's dreams, but now that she's gone she can still see us up in here. Oh definitely, yeah, I think it's good to have remember Mary and all the times that she's struggled previous, it's, it is really um commendating to Mary that we've been able to achieve this.
