On World Book Night one million free books were given out. Our Readers Circle selection of 48 books were given to friends, neighbours, people in shops, the bus queue, the street and here in the library. I asked some of the recipients what they thought of our chosen book A LIfe Like Other People's by Alan Bennett. Most people knew of this author and appreciated his writing.
