Having browse through the magazine I noted down two things: first, a part whereby two A-Level students
were interviewed an and on the last question it says, Do you think project management should be taught at all schools at A level? The answer given back was: Yes, because it gives younger people the life skill of planning, Project management can be applied to organising almost anything. Project management is an incredible life skill that is applicable to all jobs, industries, relationships and life-long learning.
Second part that I liked it was emboldened; IF PEOPLE WEREN’T OPTIMISTIC, THEY WOULD NEVER DELIVER ANYTHING. THE TRICK IS TO BALANCE OPTIMISM AND REALISM.
With this in mind I put the free magazine in my bag and hoping to of it on my spare time. I stood up
from the comfortable sofa and went to a nearby window and the scenery I saw outside from the second floor reception of Heron building forced me to pull out my camera from my bag. Once retrieved the camera. I started to take some shots. I looked on them and they were very beautiful and very encouraging. I started to take photos on different angles of the building. I was moved with the results that I felt it would be unfair if I don’t share with the mystified receptionist who was swerving her chair whilst her left hand picked up chocolate sweets every five minutes. I went to her and showed the shots. “Oh! They are really beautiful. Is that what you have been doing? I was wondering all along what on earth you were doing? But seeing these photos gave me the realisation how good you are with the camera. I liked them. Keep it up,” she said with a cheerful tone.
I was happy with the comments and then I decided I should not be waiting for my friends but to go out and have fun. I said goodbye to the receptionist as I found my exit. Outside the building I continued with my hobby. Grabbed different scenarios and still they were very encouraging that at last I decided to take more of Manchester city. I spent two and half-hours taking some photos that only cover a quarter of the city but the rewards were very good and truly satisfying. Some of the photos are truly incredible and I would love to share with you probably some but not all.
