As part of a collaborative research project between people from racialised communities, London School of Economics and Equality Trust, Uchenna shares her insights into what is wealth, what helps and hinders people from racialised communities to build wealth and what could make a difference. This storyteller talks about privilege and barriers, generational wealth, the structural and systemic difficulties people face in trying to accumulate wealth. She talks about having to start gain as a domestic abuse survivor and being constricted by the mortgage system. Uchenna talks about the importance of education and training but also the impact of workplace discrimination.
